Do you live in a house, highrise? Have you checked the taps that are connected to your water lines underneath the kitchen sink to make sure they are fully opened?

Could be a few different things.

1) Take the aerator off and see if the water flows then. If it does, it's just a clogged aerator.

2) If you have full pressure on either the hot or cold side, it's probably a problem with the mixing valve.

Make sure the valves under the sink are open so the water is getting to the faucet. If none of that works, I'd call a plumber.

If it happens at all the other faucets and even the neighbors, then perhaps there is a water main break in your area. Call the water company and they can tell you if there is such a problem. I wasn't sure if this was a problem that just started or has happened all along.

Checking the aerator is good advice if it is just the one faucet.

If it is your whole house then you could have a leak in the pipe that leads into your house. You wont necessarily see water in your yard either. After shutting off all faucets, hoses go to the meter area and listen to the pipe for water running.

If it concerns both hot and cold water and is limited to the kitchen only, it's probably the aerator. This is located on the end of the spout. Just unscrew it and while holding your finer partially over the opening (to prevent the screens from falling out) run it under water to backflush deposits from it. They are also cheap to buy a new one. Good luck.
