If someone has another set, and you have an automatic door opener, call them and have them push the unlock button while you hold the cell phone near the car and often the door will unlock. I keep a spare key wired beneath my car and that never fails.

Even worse. I stopped the car, left the keys in the car and went to a local shop to buy some coffee. In the car, my little sister ( she was 3 years old then ) was sleeping. She woke up and pushed the locking buttons to all the doors. When I came to the car, she was sitting there and crying, blocked in the car. The only solution was to bring someone to cut the glass from one of the windows of the car. This procedure lasted about 3 hours and we were talking with the poor baby and trying to do our best.

Yes, just a couple of weeks ago I was going to the airport to pick up friends when I stopped to do a bit of shopping first and I locked the keys in my car. I had to call a locksmith and it was a Sunday so it took time to get one to come and cost $70 bucks and even tho I called my friends on their cell and told them why I was late I could tell they felt kinda bad that I wasn't there to greet them!!

Only once and i was in town..Had to call the cops out there and unlock my car.. Talk about embarrassing. But I learned my lesson and knock on wood I will never do that again. I always make sure my KEYS are in my purse before I get out. I might do this 2 times , keep looking in my purse and make sure they are there.

4 times within 2 months. It's a horrible feeling. Unless you have a spare in your shoe or under the car!

Yes and I had to climb into the car through the moon roof to get inside. (In the 90's before all of the cars had safety's for this kind of problem)
