I go everywhere barefoot and I sometimes go around in the barn with the cattle and horses but not very often, my main work is elsewhere. It's not that dangerous, I've never had an injury there... Cattle & horses don't carry worms that can enter through the skin and if you work with animals you really should keep your tetanus vaccine up to date anyhow, there are other ways of catching it apart from through *stepping* on something, and cuts and scrapes on hands are common enough!

Nope not were I live, too many ground rattlers, rattlers, copperheads and cotton mouths not to mention spiders going around barefooted.

almost... i go to groom my horses and just visit with them barefoot... except in winter when its cold and except when i go in tall grass... we have a ton of slugs!

Not me! That would just be asking for trouble! You can get injured (stepped on, cut, etc.), and you can pick up some nasty infections and diseases walking through manure!
