The American truck drivers will be replaced by the low wage Mexican drivers. It's all about profits and nothing else matters

The Bush administration says that the proper safety standards have been applied. I personally question why they won't disclose those standards to the Teamsters or anyone else.

According to Nafta, they had to be safe. Bush does anything he wants under a veil of secrecy.

It probably ok if the trucks are up to US standards and the cargo is inspected. But they probably won't be.

Canadian trucks do it; why shouldn't Mexican ones?

I think it is something that needs further investigation and the laws with NAFTA need to be changed to ensure protection of borders and safety of our roadways.

I am sick to death of anyone from that country making their way into our land and forcing signs in Spanish! I have had it with the whole damn lot!
