Here's a link for you to try:
http://www.mcpl.lib.mo.us/readers/movies/
It has a complete list of books, short stories and plays made into movies.
Offhand, though:
The Outsiders
Stand by Me
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
The Devil Wears Prada
Ella Enchanted
The Princess Diaries
a lot more but the others I think would be more on children's category or adults.
Good luck!

secrets and techniques of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel by Michael Scott, first one is The Alchemyst. 4 books so far, i've got no longer study the 4th so i do no longer understand if there will be a 5th. the 1st action picture is in progression and set for a 2012 launch (in keeping with IMBD). once you're into some thing somewhat extra person, the rigidity by Guillermo del Toro is a trilogy (in user-friendly terms 2 volumes out so far) that's a reall gripping study. there is no prompt plans to tutor it right into a action picture, yet pondering the theatrical adventure of del Toro, I assume it will be a action picture in the subsequent 5 years.

There is a book being made into a movie, it's coming out in '08. It's called I'd Tell You I Love You But Then I'd Have To Kill You. The movie is being called I'd Tell You, But Then I'd Have To Kill You for length purposes.
It's about a girl who goes to a snooty private school for rich genius girls. Or that's what everyone else thinks. It's really a school for girls to learn to be spies. They learn martial arts, become fluent in several languages, and such. But nobody can know what this school is really about. The main character meets a normal boy though, and falls in love. They begin to become friends and eventually go out, but she must have a complete cover story to hide her real lifestyle- meaning she lies about almost everything. READ TO FIND OUT! I think there's a sequel in process as well.

There's quite a few actually... Some of my favorites include The Secret Garden, which might be iffy on the "young adult" genre, but I'm an adult, and I still love it.
Also try the Princess Diaries. Good for teens. Ella Enchanted. (Sorry, I'm a girl, most of mine focus around chick flicks).
