There is a gap between Jesus and the "blue sky affect". It lay in the refuseal of all people to really investigate the true identity of Jesus. Once his rel self is revealed it will open a very wide and beautiful world for you to advance into. As a Jesus believer you are stuck in mud. As an athesist you are stuck in mud. Admit it. You will elevate your thinking. Stay as you are and you will be laid to rest next to all the other persons who have believed exacxtly as you do.
Christians murder Christian in what they call righteous wars. That is a big black spot on Jesus. Now some will respond "they are not true Christian like I am". baloney.
Which of you Christians would refuse to go to battle against another Christian nation if the red, white and blue god asked you too?

You're right, that there is a true Jesus who is not correctly perceived by Christians or aethiests. It seems as though, however, that your idea of him is also deluded.

A Christian is one who not only believes in Christ and his teachings, but one who attempts to be like Christ. By sitting in judgement, you are acting very NOT-Christlike, for Christ said, judgement belongs to His Father.

You are passing judgement. A good Christian does not do that. "Judge not...lest ye be judged".
