Yes , but of course they were lying ( and I believed it , the lies ) , because I'm not ugly as they or anybody else so plainly puts it , and just because someone calls you ugly doesn't mean that you have to believe that or that you are ugly , just hold your head up high , but not in an arrogant way , more in a confident way and don't listen too much to what people say , think about what you think of yourself and what God thinks of you and after all we are all wonderfully made

No, but once I was told that I was a pretty woman, with an ugly attitude and I know it was said out of anger, i'm a very nice person and I did not take the comment personally because I knew this person, was going through a rough time, at the moment.

Oh yes, I have been called ugly by my own mother. It was not until I became an adult that I realized that the parts of me she was calling ugly are the very same features I share with her. Now I know that it is not me she sees as ugly but rather herself in me that she sees as ugly. Discount what they say as an opinion..just like @ssholes...everyone has one and most of them stink.

Yeah I have been called ugly before, It gets me down for all of 5 seconds, then it gets me mad...
(I've had more people say I look fine than not)

A few times I have... but i look at it this way not everyone is going to find me attractive, some will and some won't and that's okay with me. Not going to let what others say dictate how I feel about myself.

I've been called ugly and even though I KNEW they did it just to hurt my feelings--it worked.
