YOu should not be removing your fish from the tank. You actually should NEVER remove your fish from his tank unless you are moving him to another. During weekly water changes, you change PART of the water, as in 25% or so. You should be using a vaccum siphon to suck the waste from the gravel during your water changes. What is your cleaning procedure? Depending on the size of the tank and the type and size of the fish and your nitrate levels, you do not need to change the water every week if it is cycled. Is your tank cycled? If you have been changing all the water and actually 'cleaning" the gravel and tank, I doubt it is. Please go to a dedicated fish froum and read up on proper maintanance of your fish tank and the nitrogen cycle.

You really should only change the water from the top of the tank or use a siphon hose cleaner to extract waste from the bottom. Removing the fish from the tank should not be necessary, and never ever change more than 25% of the water at a time. Biological filtration can be interrupted if you do, which can lead to all sorts of bad things up to and including death of the fish.

You should not be changing all the water at once. Do a 15% weekly gravel siphoning and just leave the fish in the tank. By moving him from a large, filtered, heated tank, to a tiny bowl, it is very stressful and may cause the fish to jump or injure himself on the sides of the bowl.

NEVER do 100% water changes. You only need to do a 25% to 50% water changes once a week. No need to remove your fish just siphon out 25% of the water with your fish instead of moving it
don't use soap cause that is deadly
good luck!

what kind of fish is it, and what kind of tank, and size?
If it's a betta, total water changes are fine (because it's an air-breather that is used to living in ponds), and a little stress for them is a very good exercise.
If it's a goldfish, only half the water weekly (or more, if they're smelly, because they can handle the frequency), and then you can leave it in the same tank.
Same with other fish, half water changes weekly.

you can put a water bubbler in the tank and that helps the fish get oxygen.

you really cant, changing water is stressful but it must be done.

What you can do is turn the lights off, this tends to calm them down alittle bit.

But it is ok with the stress, it comes with water changes.
