OK, I know they added that 2.5 million dollar cancer and whatshisface (guy who lost his job to Nabokov in SJ) and then the other New Yorker hotshot, but I just can't see them doing well next year. I understand every single year LeafBlowers say that they'll make the playoffs, but I just can't see what's so different this year. Whatshisface doesn't seem like a real starting goalie, just another Gaycroft, and that cancer is just a big expensive distraction, and that New Yorker might be decent but he's old and later on in his contract he will suck. My question shouldn't be how will the Laffs do, but rather, why did they trade away Bell, Rask, and all those picks for? Do they want to suck in the future, just likey suck now?

They will be in the hunt for the 8th play-off spot around the trade dead-line (between 8th and 10th) so they will trade some more prospects and draft picks, setting the franchise back another few years and still probably missing the play-offs or a 1st round exit at the best.

Fable Laffs...tha'ts a new one. At least you're trying. No, Bell isn't the cancer of the team; the Toronto population is the cancer of the entire province, and that includes the Leafs.

Anyways, Bell would've sat out most of the season, and he really wouldn't've made much of a difference. The Leafs will make the playoffs as a sixth or under seed, but I don't think they'll make it past the second round.

Go Leafs.

I'm not sure there is room for the Leafs at the playoff table this year. Ottawa and Buffalo are definitely better in their own division. I believe that the Rangers and Pittsburgh are better in the Atlantic. We all know the winner of the Southeast is guaranteed 3rd seed (Carolina? Atlanta? Tampa Bay?) So, you are battling for 6th against the other two Southeast teams, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Montreal. 6 teams fighting for 3 spots, and I'm not putting Toronto in the top half of those 6.

1. Ottawa
2. Rangers
3. Thrashers
4. Penguins
5. Sabres
6. Lightning
7. Flyers
8. Devils
9. Maple Leafs
10. Hurricanes
11. Canadiens
12. Islanders
13. Panthers.
14. Capitals
15. Bruins

Clearly you are trying to offend Leafs fans.....fine with me, I don't like them either (lol). I think they're definitely going to make the playoffs though. I see them squeeking in at 6,7,8 spot. The Leafs could go either way I think.......a really good year or a really bad year.

You seem to know an awful lot about sucking. Care to explain why?
