The police incompetance beggars belief, or perhaps, could there be corruption in high places? High ranking members of a paedo ring controlling the investigation, now becoming tired of the attention?

I put this question out like 2 weeks ago and no one even flinched at it this being before the McCanns were named as suspects. It was although based on the fact the case was going no where, around in circles if you must. However, evidence is key and those tests were done out of Portugal in the UK. So I'm going to go with a no to answer this, evidence is fact. The people collecting the evidence were from the lab. Possibly the UK lab is in on it too? Give it a rest. No one is tired of attention, it takes a long time in cases like this to do things right and they sought help from outside sources finally, like the dogs from Britain, so what now the dogs were in on it? The British police have been working with them on the case and the case is in the world news now not just tabloids, so that would be a far cry from tired of attention. Many people spend years in prison still claiming their innocence, when the evidence goes against that and that is why they are there not because he said she said. I don't think the parents did it intentionally I think it was an accident. If it still amazes you that parents can be this way, look up the name Susan smith. Enough said

What beggars belief, is the British police saying they would have done thing better. The police who after many rapes allowed Ian Huntley to murder, who have jailed countless of Innocent people(allowing guilty to stay at large), shoot Innocent people and a baby who was asleep in bed, to give the where abouts of a safe house(the couple murder in Sutton on Sea, the killers was tipped off by coppers), who leave victims to bleed to death,who have allowed our streets to become lawless!

I think you be hard to find "paedo's in Portugal, but the US found a few in tne British police forces as well as an odd actor!

Oh, that's for sure. Involved too are the CIA and Bin Laden. I think the Portuguese Police knew about the planned attack on the twin towers in 2001 and did nothing. bla bla bla bla... GROW UP !!!
I read somewhere a month or so ago that a senior Police Office in in the north of Portugal, holding a copy of The Sun said "... and in answer to this most intellectual of UK newspapers, there are thousands of children missing in England for years, cases that have never been solved !" - He may very well have a point.

Face the facts. The forensic tests were carried out on British soil. The sniffer dogs were from Britain. There is no cover up. Thanks to DNA, people can no longer get away with murder. I know it is hard to accept if you are a supporter of the McCanns that you were sucked in by their sob story but you have to accept it. The DNA tests show that they were involved. What more proof do you need - please don't tell me you think they were "set up".
