Sorry for not putting all the info last time. ok i downloaded AVG from download.com, after it downloaded i installed it and updated it,i had norton AV on the whole time it downloaded and when it installed, after i ran the first scan with avg then i turned off norton and uninstalled it( i did not know u could only run 1 AV at a time).I would just like to know if my AVG is fine (nothing wrong with it since i had norton on when i installed it).

ur best bet then if ur in doubt is 2 uninsall then reinstall--k

to be sure uninstall avg and Norton(look and make sure ALL is gone) and then download avg again ..update and run full system scan ..you should be ok , I have used avg for years and I also use spy-bot search&destroy and ad-aware 2007 and have never had a any issues at all and they ALL run with XP windows ..all work with each other ..and all are fully backed up and updated regularly and they are all free!

i have two years with AVG and from time to time i run another antivirus just to be sure that everything is ok and i havent found any threats on my PC so i think is a really nice option when dealing with virus.

It should be ok. But again, DO NOT Run two antivirus at the same time.
