I have a wireless router in one room but it does not reach the room in the other side of the house. So I was thinking. What if i bot another wireless router and put it in the center of the house and justed plug it in. Would it pick up wireless signals from the the other wireless router and extend the wireless signal?I just need some cheap ideas to extend my wireless router signal.

1) Could be a cheap or defective router. May need a replacement

2) There could be many other wireless networks in the area that are causing a conflict. When you view the available networks on your computer, are there a lot of them? Is this is a case, change the wireless channel in your router to 1 or 11.

3)You could purchase a rangebooster or range extender. I believe Linksys sells one.

Don't buy another router. You should return the one you have now, or sell it to someone. Then go and get a different router that has farther frequencies so that you can reach it all over your house.
