Agreed, 1inch = 10 gallons, so you need minimum 70 gallons, as they will be getting bigger yet, short and long is best for turtles. Water depth = 2x width of the shell so yours should be about approx 12-14 inches deep and maintained at about 75 degrees. Lighting you need heat and UV. A dry area for it to bask on where the heat lamp sits over and temp should reach about 85 degrees. And a GOOD Filtration system, preferable something that is outside the tank like a canister filter.

The guideline is 10 gallons of water per inch of shell length. If the shell is 7" long, it should be in 70 gallons of water.

I would honestly prefer to keep a turtle that size in a minimum of 30 gallon long aquarium. Make sure to have proper basking area as well as pool side, assuming this is a water turtle we are talking about.

Are you talking about the cage or how much water or what? Well I wouldn't put too much water in but I'd be sure to make sure the cage is large enough for the turtle to swim in. I'd also put a rock in it for it to sit on mine loves it! Let's see about your question, I'm not quite sure what it means! But I would say that 20 gallons is enough but I'd get it a little bit bigger!

NO way! i would be leaning towards fifty gallons at least, especially if you have more than one.

ehhhh. probably a little small. also depends on how the tank is set. if its one of those really deep ones, definately not. i would just go with a long 30 gal. keep the turt happy.
