There's a concert at the ROXY on the 12 so seeing as how am over 2000 miles away we better get going.

get something small and fuel-efficient. Pick me up in Sonoma CA---I'll show you around this lovely town for a day or so, then we head for---
Yellowstone Park---see the fall colors and the elk and moose and anteloupe and bighorn sheep and wild horses---and my son. Then we head for
Eagle Lake Minnesota, where the only freshwater lake in the western hemisphere that contains coral is. Beautiful water, got access to a cabin there...family, good food.

Lake Forest Illinois, where my folks are, haven't seen me in awhile. Just a day or so there. then we head for
New England, where the leaves will be turning soon. Have a brother there, we can stay a day or so. then...
Back to CA through Kentucky, and stopping in Colorado, to see a couple of old friends.
I can secure free lodging and meals in most of these places.
