I just ordered a wireless adapter
(NetGear Wireless-G USB 2.0 Adapter WG111) and a wireless router (NetGear Wirelss G WGR614) I have two computers i'm trying to hook up to the internet. Will I be able to hook the router to one of them and have it connect to the internet or do i need an adapter for both?

Connect your router to one Pc via the Ethernet cable then connect the other via the adapter.

You can use a cable to connect one computer directly to the router, and have the other one connect to the router wirelessly. If you want both computers to connect wirelessly, you would need 2 wireless adapters (one for each computer).

You can connect one of the computers with a CAT 5E or CAT 6 cable directly to one of the LAN ports on the router and use wireless to connect the other.

Depending how the router is configured, you may need another card (PCI) if the other computer is a desktop, or you can use a CAT IV cable, what ever is easier to use for your application.
