Who supported this Movie??? I talked with the young man that went through this.What else do i need to research. See the Movie.No propaganda.It was made about 20 years ago.
Voted best picture of the years and it was.

For the most part, it is based on a true story. the arrest occurred at a time when there was a lot of pressure on Turkey to crack down on drug smugglers. The horrors of the Turkish prison system are well documented as well.

That movie is supposedly based on a true story. Exactly how factual it was is anyone's guess, but I would certainly not want to see the inside of a Turkish prison.
