That is not the answer to your question because you stated the similarities of their propogandas, not their differences. Their differences are that Hitler's war propoganda about cleansing the human race was based on something that could not be proven to be true (that jews were inferior). Bush's war propoganda about doing away with Iraq's weapons of mass destrction, at the time appeared to be true, although later we saw that evidence was likely fabricated to support the Bush administration's theories. Had weapons of mass destruction been found, then Bush's propoganda would have been justified.

History is written by the victor, or at least those with the upper hand. Since Hitler lost, we can only presume that what is in the history books was not written by him.

Miss Tangerine:

Just curious, how much does a Communist Party membership cost these days?

The main difference here is no one attacked Germany, they went on an offensive rampage. Did we all forget the US was attacked on 9-11-2001? The people responsible for that are now paying the price. I don't care what anyone says Iraq under Saddam Hussein was at the very least indirectly involved with the terrorist attacks. And he paid the ultimate price, his life!

Hitler was not setting out to "increase fear in the public," if by "public" you mean his own constituents. He had power and he wanted to keep power. He didn't see any reason not to exploit one group or another to do so. While Hitler attempted to blame all of his country's financial and social ills on those groups, they had done little in reality to earn the ire and violence that followed. Bush, however misguided, really did feel provoked by September 11. He was ostensibly at least attempting to CALM the "fear in the public" although his public was strictly limited to the voting blocks of the US. Few around the world didn't understand the pursuit of the Taliban in Afghanistan. It was widening the war to Iraq that was so horribly misguided, destructive to the peace in the wider world, and ultimately responsible for making to voting public in the US feel less safe. Bush hasn't made it his specific goal and final solution to kill men, women, and children of a specific ethnicity, though I understand how it may seem that way to many based on his "god is on our side" rhetoric. Truth be told, God isn't on anyone's side in the current violence. God is on the side of those who find peaceful ways to live and work together.

Ahh Hitler killed millions of jews and anyone who disagreed with him. Bush has not done anything even close to that and furthermore anytime anyone compares Bush to Hitler they just end up sounding stupid and they also make a very offensive comment by making the Holocaust seem like something not that bad by comparing it to a war where are soldiers are volunteering to risk there lives to bring democracy to Iraq.

What is the difference between this stupid version of the question and the other 10,000 versions already posted on YA?

For people who actually equate Bush with Hitler, I really pity your stupidity and ignorance. In many ways, you are the people that are turning this country into a mental wasteland.

I'd just give it a few years.
The History books have not been writ on the still-living person you mention. Also, the accurate / and enduring record will be written by people of the future. People who will live in the resulting aftermath. -Not political Prostitutes of the present.

Propaganda is a useful tool for accomplishing an objective. It can be used positively, such as they do to commemorate 9/11 to build patriotism in the community, or such as they do to push for a passage of a school or police levy (vote).
