I would be neither happy or unhappy. It would depend more on who that woman was................

That's most definitely not true. There is no certain answer as to how a woman would run the country, but men have run it all along, and look at all the wars we have, and the condition our people are in. It's time that we took the chance, elected a woman, and gave her the chance to benefit us. Men who disagree with this are power hungry, and wish women to remain subservient. I doubt any male can come up with a reason to not have a female president, other than 'shes a girl'. Someone try to say something otherwise. You may say, 'well, she won't know how to run things, guys always do it', but I'd say, hell, she wouldn't have gotten to where she is without knowing what she was doing. So yea, a woman for president, yes!

Depends on the woman. There have been amazing female leaders throughout history, but there have been some terrible ones as well.

Our President must be taken seriously by other leaders (national and international) to be able to do his or her job. Unfortunately, not all politicians consider women to be equal, and that could cause some problems.

Honestly though, if we sit around waiting for sexism to disappear before electing a woman, we will always follow a man.

I disagree with that. How can anyone say a woman cannot do as well as a man, when we've never had a woman President? Golda Meir was the best Prime Minister Israel ever had. I will not mind in the least having a woman President, as long as it isn't that trashy, lying, thief, Hellary!

I’m willing to try a woman. Us men don’t have the greatest history at running countries.

Eventually even us folk in the US of A will have to overcome our prejudice born of ignorance. The problem is that no matter how unsupportable our positions, we all like our opinion.

I decry the statement that a clever 7th grader would do better than Dubya and his mouthpiece, Cheney, the Republican Party of God’s coffee gopher.

First of all, a seventh grader has not reached his/her majority and we got us some laws here in god's favorite cuntry.

Go get em Hillary! They’re just a bunch of girly-boys; you can whup em.

A women president could do just as well as a men president.

I lost faith in the political process long ago (despite, paradoxically, continuing to vote regardless), so I have a different approach to that question: women couldn't possibly do any worse than men.
