My parents gave me a name at birth, but at the same time gave me a nickname as well. Does that make any sense? They were afraid that my name would be too difficult to spell, when I was first learning how to spell it, so they decided to give me a nickname. I have gone by that name only.

It depends on who it is that's talking to me. Most of my family uses a nickname. But others call me by my given name.
