It must dry solid and not stay tacky... and the not changing color in UV light would be a bonus!! A hot glue gun option is a thought... but it turns opaque after drying. No good!!! Please help me if you can!! Thanks!!

You don't say how, or where this product will be used, and I'm not quite sure what you mean by solid. Solid as in resin hard, or firm? Caulk has a curing time. The labels will say that it is paintable in two hours, but it is still curing. Ever try to remove old caulk? It's hard enough for me!! LOL. Also, because of temperature variations throughout the year, it's also designed to be somewhat flexible, otherwise if it got "hard" it would be "brittle" and break its seal, making the whole purpose of applying it pointless and quite expensive. Not too many DIYers are into that.

As for UV resistance, most caulking products have right on the label that they will not be affected by UV light. All I can suggest is either give everyone here a better idea as to what you're using the product for, or go to your local home improvement store and explain it to them.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but it's difficult to make suggestions when you don't know what the actual situation is. You might need a completely different type of product.
