This person had some quartz and she said that energy came out of it or something like that. She also went on about all the cool stuff it can do like balance your inner spirit or whatever. I don't really believe in all that, but the weird thing is, when I held it, I really did feel something, like a current, coming out of it. Was it just my imagination? Does anybody have anything to say about this?

I kinda thought it was just my imagination...still though. It's interesting.

"Crystal energy" is all new age nonsense ******** - anything you felt was your imagination working overtime - sorry....

The only "quartz energy" is that holding the individual silicon and oxygen molecules together, flexing of chemical bonds, movement of atoms within the crystal lattice structure and any other movement of a similar sort. If you wish to believe in some magical energy that is your business, but it has no place within the realm of Science. As for your feeling something, that is called the "placebo effect". If you wish to feel something, you will feel something.

quartz when electrified can vibrate at a constant speed (2700 per sec?) like in a quartz watch
