You got a fake email -- it's called PHISHING where unscrupulous individuals send emails supposedly from companies like eBay, Paypal, etc.

If you click on the link they have on the email and log into your account, they can steal your account (as they have a way to record your keystrokes to find out your username and password) and get your personal information. I hope that you did not do that

What's the dead giveaway? The obviously FALSE Paypal Customer Care email as Paypal never uses that email. Plus the @consu... is not Paypal.

Trash it. Delete it. And NEVER EVER believe those emails again. Go to your account by typing in the Paypal website straight into the browser (don't click on the email) and change your password immediately

If you didnt sell anything it is probably a phish or scam.

I would log into your Paypal account & forward a copy of the email (with headers showing so they maybe can trace it to the scammer) to Paypal's real contact address.

They are pretty good in resolving issues.

That's very hard to say from here, because I cannot see the email. Why don't you log into your Paypal-account if you're not sure and contact Paypal about it, or send them the email:

If you did not sell something, it is definitely a scam.

If you did, it is probably not, but be cautious anyways.

Try the link it gives you. Make sure it is paypal.com, and not a fake with a different address. if it is fake, or you suspect it is, report it to eBay and then login to paypal.com (type it yourself) and check if there is a message about any of this. If there isn't, it is probably a scam.
