They can't make noise or anything, but they can go through the motions of crying. Check out the link. Considering where it comes from I highly doubt it's a fake.

YES! babys in their mothers womb can cry they cant make any sound that im aware of but the CAN cry i hope this is helpful

Babies in the womb can not cry because their lungs do not work yet. To be able to cry they would have to be able to breathe. They really don't have a whole lot to be upset about, no dirty diapers, they get all their nutrition, and they are warm and cozy.

I don't know about that. However I did see a ladys 3D pics today that showed her baby with his fist against his face and he had his mouth open and was pouting. It was beautiful!!
