What should I do about this problem?
I plan on going to work today .. and work
but what about for the schedule.
Should I tell her that I can not work Sat's? I told my dad about this and he said I should just leave it alone because I am in the probation period and I might get fired.
But I can not help that I cant work Sat's. I mean I have school all day.
So what would be the professional way to handle this situation?

I would bring it up with the scheduling manager in a very non-threatening way. Just say something like "I have school on Saturdays and I can't work." Make sure that you don't come across the wrong way, and the manager should be able to figure something out.

You have school on Saturdays. Ok since that is not normal you should have made sure they were aware of that when you were hired. Also on the application it may have had a section to note your availability. Did you note Saturdays not available? Not a big deal, but in your next job do not overlook those details.
Tell your manager your situation. Maybe you can work Friday nights and Sundays. Your dad may be right, but if you can work 6 days a week, I would expect them to keep you.
As for probation period, they could fire a worker with 10 years tenure because they were late once, or for no reason at all.
Your dad is wrong, do not just leave it alone. Sorry dad. In the workplace today you can not be afraid of every little thing. The more direct and confident you are the better off you are in the long run. You can not quit school right? So really you have no choice. And if that does not work out for the company, that is OK, no hard feelings. I am very sure you can find a job were you can work around your schedule.

Maybe your boss doesn't pay attention to your availability. I would work today and bring it up to her that your availability is N/A for Saturday's because of school. Was she the one that hired you? I'd go higher up if she is no help or is not concerned. I do scheduling for almost 90 people and it is hard. Sometimes I do goof on a requested day off or on their availability. But I am happy to correct it. I'm only human.

Well definitely go, like you were planning on. Tell the manager that you need to speak to her when she has some time. Call it to her attention and again remind her your need to not work on Saturdays. If she needed you, it would have been nice for her to tell you. Maybe it was just a mistake? Definitely talk to her and be honest about what you need.
