I try to. My faith makes me look on the bright side, because Jesus is alive, and the truth is brighter than anything any person can imagine.
On the other hand, I'm not perfect, so when my faith fails or falls short, that is when I don't look on the bright side.

I try to but I believe a balance is more healthy as it pushes you to achieve goals & to get yourself out of bad situations so we have to look on the gloomey sides at times to make a change for the better. But being positive is definitly a good thing!.

No, as my daughter always says: "Mum, your cup is always half empty" and it's true. My pessimism goes back to a bad childhood, and various very bad things that have happened to me as an adult. However, I do have the capacity for joy but it is fleeting.......

I try to. who the hell wants to be depressed all the time? Sometimes you need to be depressed and wallow in it for a day but nothing gets accomplished like that.
