Has anyone ever been to kings dominion in Doswell Virginia?

I suspose to be going in october. Tell me what your favorite ride is and why and if your answer is interesting you get best answer.

I used to work there years ago, and before that I had a season pass almost every year.

My favorite ride used to be the Grizzly roller coaster. It is a wooden coaster that used to be all in the woods, so you really could not see where you were going on the ride until you hit that curve or hill. But, they cut the trees down to put another coaster beside it, and it's not so fun anymore. I miss the trees and the way the coaster used to be so much.

They put in the Volcano, which is an awesome coaster. It launches straight out of the que house into a vertical loop. Awesome! It's built in a "mountain" that used to house three seperate rides. (Land of the Dooz/Smurf Mountain, Haunted River, Time Machine.) They "Mountain" was awesome when it opened in the 70's, but the rides had become boring and often broke down in the 90's. The Volcano coaster is a great new ride and it kept the iconic Mountain that was part of Kings Dominion.

Next to it is the Outer Limits roller coaster. Entirely housed inside. It was one of the Paramount Studio themed rides, based on the concept of Alien Abduction. It was one of the first magnetic launch roller coasters made. It's pretty fun. They have an awesome que house, with a movie and all playing. But, when Paramount owned Kings Dominion, they did not bother keeping up "appearances." So, the que houses often got vandalized. Haven't been there in a few years so I don't know what it looks like now.

nope never but if it is a theme park, i would go for all the roller coaster rides ;p
