As a the hiring Chef in a hugh hotel...we have a three interview process before we even consider an employee. They will first interview with Human Resources and then myself and then the General Manager of the Hotel. If they get through all three, then we send them for a drug test and then back to Human Resources to offer them the job and then BACK to ME for final approval.
So that would be five separate interviews and a drug test just to work as a line cook or banquet cook for like $12 frigging dollars an hour.
The saddest part of this whole project is the fact that I was hired over the phone through reputation alone without a single interview.

I got my first job after 3 interviews, but i've had a few jobs since then.

Hello, I interviewed 7 firms before deciding the boss i would get on with and he got the job.

On my very first job I filled out the application and took it into the place, and was hired on the spot. I didn't have an interview.

Had only interview, but was offered a job else where, and didn't need a interview for there.

im training to be a mental health nurse so i had a grilling off 2 people, then a maths an english test then another interview with personel but i ve been there 2 yrs an its great

i had 3 for jobs like wiatressing ect then finally mnaged to get a paper round lol
