If you mean 7 cents (as in $0.07) then the answer is 7/10 of a cent (0.1 times 7 = 0.7). Otherwise, you and Barkley are right with .007 cents.

The way you have written the question, the answer is as already given - 0.007. If you mean 10% of 7 cents, then it's 0.7 cent.

.007 is the actual answer in cents. Since we don't usually talk about money in such small decimal amounts you may be asked to round your answer to the nearest cent or .01 cents.
You can find the answer using two methods. I prefer using fractions because then you can simplify.
10% = .1 or 10/100
10% of .07 = .1 x .07 or 10/100 x 7/100
either way you get 7 thousandths or .007 or 7/1000
The answer is still .007 cents or 7 thousandths of a cent, unless you are told to round to the nearest cent.

You mulitply 0.07 and 0.10 and the answer is 0.007. But since we are working with cents, and there is no such thing as a 0.007 cent, the answer is 1 cent :)

10% would be 1/10, meaning it could be found by dividing the number by 10, which would yield the answer you gave, 0.007, you can't make it equal anything else.

Use the calculator and put in .07 then hit the X key and then 10 and the % key and that is how you get your answer. However my calculator rounds it up since it is a fraction of a cent so that I am not getting .007 which it should be. So by hand, put in .07
