You may also want to point out that most Muslim countries have rampant illiteracy and strictly controlled media. These two factors are a cause of ignorance and unbridaled devotion. Another point is that these Muslim nations have not advanced technologically without the West in over one thousand years, their faith stifles education, knowledge and the advancement of civilization. Islam is not the answer it is a disease.

I don't think the original Osama is still alive. This new one is simply a CIA spokesman/bogeyman on the order of Idi Amin, the old Saddam Hussein, and Manuel Noriega, among others.
Forcing conversion to a religion is a way of conquering people, as done by Constantine with Christianity in the fourth century. This caused the decline and fall of Rome, so your point is quite correct.
My guess is that the US will succumb to Chinese communist capitalism before embracing Islam, though. When the Chinese finish clearing out enough US citizens through poison, they will drop the leaflets telling us to surrender. So get brushed up on your Mandarin so you can read them and at least know what to do.

If that raghead bin Laden thinks I'm going to give up pork barbecue and beer, he has another thing coming.
Bin Laden made that conversion statement because it is one of the formal requirements of a jihad. Since the time of Mohammed, Muslim invaders gave the local populations a choice of conversion, subjugation as dhimmis or war. The invitation to Islam was for Muslims to show that bin Laden was being chivalrous by giving us a chance to convert and avoid our fate.
Islam is a bloodthirsty, backward and barbaric ideology. It needs to be scrapped in the dustbin of history. No one, especially not Europe, can afford to give in to their demands.
