i have done quite a few diets. Honestly a person is said to have 10 to 12 lbs of waste in their intestines. so the diets are designed to cleanse that out. thats why it's an immediate weight loss and then you struggle with the rest of the weight. anyone can do it. you alternate fresh fruits and veggies ( only) with lots of water. it cleans you out. ( fresh juice and veggie juice counts too) it does make you lose up to 12lbs. you feel lighter and your jeans feel looser around the waist. the rest of the weight needs to be lost with exercise and a good diet. The cleanse is meant to be a kick start to your diet. It's not healthy to do it more than once a month. Hope you meet your weight loss Goal. Good Luck !!!!

All you need to do is change your eating habits. If you were to eat 5 small meals during the course of the day and drink at least 32 ounces of water, you'd lose weight without having to go on a diet. It's healthier with no side effects.

I'm always leary when I hear about diets that promise quick weight loss like that. Plus the list of foods that you can eat are always disgusting. As much fun as it would be to lose that much weight that fast, I think I'll stick to losing the weight slowly...with the hope of keeping it off better. Good luck if you try the diet though :)

I've tried it and yes it worked but boy was it disgusting.
I lost 6lbs a week
****I was introduced to this diet by a friend at work that used to work for a cardiologist. They placed obese patients on this diet to loose weight before risky surgery. Her husband lost 80lbs from doing this. It really does work but it is so nasty...trust me on this.
