This actually happened to me a week or two ago. I live in
the country and there are snakes around here. One morning
I saw a snake about 2 feet long crawling in to my garage
through the open door. I looked at it to be sure it was not
poisonous, then I let it come inside. Since I have seen signs
of mice in the garage, this snake would help keep down the
mouse population and it was harmless to us humans.
I don't know about creative, but it is true.

Go 'how the hell did a snake get in here?' and then probably chuck a blanket or something on it and call the RSPCA. From outside. With both cats under my arms and my dog on the lead so they couldn't be eaten.
Not sure what else I could do to be honest - if it was a tiny not harmful snake then I would pick it up myself and take it outside.
I should imagine I would swear a little bit too if it was a big one lol.
