i know under the hood but where under the hood. no smart answers please. if you only have a smart answer then dont answer at all.

Look under the hood and look for a black cap about the size of a silver dollar, it could say OIL on it, but anyway the oil stick is where you check your oil and fill your car with oil also, try this , a lot of Chevy cars have an oil stick just like this!

Look on the side of the engine for a small handle. I'm not familiar with the Tracker, but dipsticks don't vary much from one car to the next. When you see a small handle on the side of the engine try pulling straight up on it. If it comes out easily and has markings for "full" and "add" plus has oil residue on it you've got the right one. when you open the hood look towards the back its usally on the right side
