One is a citizen of the USA, the other hates his own country.

Americans are Americans because we were born in the USA or have become naturalized citizens.

Democrats are members of a political party started by someone named Thomas Jefferson. Perhaps you have heard of him? He's the guy that penned the Declaration of Independance. He also had a lot to say about the Constitution. You know that document Bush said is a goddamn piece of paper? Democrats care about working people while their elitist opponents called Republicans, today, tend to favor the wealthy and big business. While the Democrats have a better domestic policy Republicans tend to have a better foreign policy. On the economy Democrats are said to tax and spend (buy now pay now) where Republicans borrow and spend (buy now pay later).

Your inference harkens back to Germany in the 1930s. They say that history repeats itself but I didn't believe it. People like you make me believe more and more that history does repeat itself and it is not always pleasant. Seig Heil (sound familar?)

You and your ilk seem to follow the thoughts of someone who is obviously one of your idols and role models:
Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Nothing if the democrat is American...We thrive on diversity in this country. We NEED the checks and balances. Being Individual is what America is all about.

Wow so the partisan hatred has started

If you don't think the way I do them you aint no American like us

And yet you say you are a free nation ??? "Cognitive dossonance" look that up when you get a chance

Free speech - Oh wait you meant freedom of popular speech Popular to be defined by the one true party all rights reserved

Your style of thinking has occured elsewhere in the world -

Germany 1930's Russia China North Korea

Should I start calling Bush "Dear leader" the way they do in North Korea where if you aren't part of the "one true party" you aint no North Korean ?

Are you even aware of what you are saying I wonder -

I had hoped to live my entire life from begining to end - free from jack booted thugs who pretend to be liberators and protectors of things they hate -

But I see that people like you are going to make that impossible -

'American' is a matter of citizenship, 'Democrat' is a matter of political party affiliation.

When the word 'bright' is mentioned, you should keep a very low profile. Your name says it all.
