It was over IM, to a transgender friend... I meant to ask "Where have you been?" but I ended up typing "Who have you been?"

I caught the typo, though, and avoided hitting enter.

This is difficult to answer. You should have written down examples.

Freudian slips often happen in specific circumstances and I don't think there would be many you could think up that are very good in a fictional situation. The best ones come around from real situations.

One I had recently was when I was under pressure from an editor to get in a story. It was cloak and dagger stuff, investigative journalism. I said to someone it was "clock and dagger." :-)

Freudian slips seem to occur all of the time with me. Just last week I meant to say 'Hi' to my girlfriend but it came out as 'I hate you, you f ucking c unt. Why won't you f uck off and die?' It's really weird when that happens.

Curses upon you bletherskyte! you got the gag in 2 minutes before me.
