no, our politicians don't care about the people. they don't really care about the corporations either, other than the fact they can get money and power by using them. money, power, keeping their jobs, that's all 99% of them care about.

Politicians only care about financial progress and it seems it is their own financial progress that they spend most of their time developing. So now if they cared we would have healthcare their would be housing for the homeless, education for the poor and all of those important factors would be dealt with because they would feel the need to do their jobs. But we have Senators who prefer prostitution and contracting bribes and God only know about Craig and if he was set up. So these are their priorities. Now what was the question?

Politicians care about who is paying/backing them the most. The deeper pockets are the one's who get their backs scratched the most.
