At this stage in his career, Cujo is a liability...something the Leafs already have enough of.

It's unfortunate, but I think he's done as a goalie in the NHL, a stellar career, but not an All-Star one

Because Ferguson frakked up and got three goalies for some reason. I don't think Cujo would be a good fit on the team though. He wants to win a Cup, and the Leafs are a few years out of actual contention for it. I'd rather see Cujo go to Colorado or some other playoff calibre team.

The Leafs haven't signed him because they still have Andrew Raycroft. I'm pretty sure if the Leafs can manage to get rid of Raycroft there would be no doubt CuJo would be the backup to Vesa.

I think even the Senators would seriously take CuJo as a backup as well, if they can somehow unload Gerber and his 3.7 million dollar contract. Bryan Murray would love to have CuJo backing up Emery for the Sens.

So yea, its not that they don't want him, its just there's no room and its business.

Do the Maple Laffs really need 3 number 2 goalies?

As much as I like Cujo, I can't see what the team would do with 3 goalies who all feel they should be starting. If they had the cap space, they probably realize they have other holes they could fill.

I loved CuJo in his time with the leafs, i think hes an amazing player, i have auto'd pic's of him and i defently think he is one Stellar Tender, But i dont think the leafs can even afford someone like him, the sad truth is, he might end up like Tie Domi and Retire.

Aside from already having enough tenders, the Leafs don't have the best track record when it comes to bringing players back.

He's a good goaltender, but they've got better now. That money could be better spent elsewhere, especially in the salary cap NHL.

Great idea if the Buds didn't pick up Toskala.
