This life is full of hurt. But that is a great part of its' Nature. Once you understand to accept that, then you are able to deal with its' discrepancies a lot better.
And of course I at times feel sick at feeling down...but I feel sicker at myself if I remain or wallow in such a moving-sands,
quagmire of a state!
If I reach such a point and I do, I lift myself down, confront myself in the mirror and tell me, "yeah, you feel like an outhouse, but THIS too shall pass."

It's full of hurt, but it's also full of joy.
You take both in equal measure, I believe, over time.
I relish the good times, and hold onto those I love through the bad times.
And rainbow hunting is a wonderful thing.

I adhere to the old adage, "without pain (sadness), one can never experience joy."
But yes being down is tiresome. I hope you're not feeling down today.

I do. I just want to feel normal again. I'm always upbeat when I'm around people, but subdued when I'm alone. I can't say that I'm miserable, it's just something is missing.

I wonder that myself but at least we still feel those emotions. It is when we completely shut down that it becomes scary.
