Here's what the Portugese police believe: Madeleine was drugged by her mother so she would sleep through their dinner date. Mum came back at 10 PM and found her dead. In only a couple of minutes time, Mum hid the body so well that weeks of intensive searching by both professionals and volunteers did not reveal the whereabouts. Then, 25 days after her death, Madeleine's decomposed body was removed from its hiding place and transported by the family to some other location in a rented car, even though they were watched closely every moment. Ludicrous!! The most clever of demons couldn't have pulled that one off! We've watched so many crime TV shows that we've been brainwashed into believing that bits of old, contaminated DNA evidence mean more than common sense. God help the McCanns. They've been tortured by the loss of their daughter, and will now have to endure the torture of the press and the public, eager for a good murder story. I continue to pray for wee Maddie and her family.

So you think thats what the Portuguese think is it??

Where have you got that from, they are keeping very quiet.

Do you know one of them?

Silly!!!!!

The last time an independent person saw Maddie was at 6pm leaving near enough 2 hours. They then declared her missing at 10pm that for anyone that can count puts the time at 4 hours.
The body may well have gone in the first two hours. The blood in the car could have come from blood stained clothing that had been kept in a plastic bag that humidity had kept liquid.

But take a longer look - Kate McCann appears to have been a suspect from day 2 of the disappearance. Their telephones and emails were monitored from very early on which required evidence for the warrant.

It is the UK police and forensic science laboratories that found and examined the evidence. Ask yourself why Kates clothing was taken for forensic examination along with her bible!

Sadly only 6 children are abducted by peadeophiles each year whilst many children are killed and badly assaulted by their parents.

Whilst you are quick to protect the parents you ignore the fact that this is about Maddie. You like many other people have been sucked in by the McCanns self serving ego tripping media circus. The vast majority of the supposition and information coming from their own family and mouth pieces and not the police!!!!

This is about Maddie and I do hope that if the McCanns do turn out to be guilty that you can live with the fact that you joined the cover up brigade!!!!

No one should be campaigning to protect anyone from investigation or suspicion in the party or area unless that is it is someone seeking to pervert the course of justice!!!!!

To be honest they were extremely stupid and irresponsible to leave three very young children on there own. They also left the door open so that family and friends could check on them but suppose one of those children had woken up wandered out and the place they were staying had a swimming pool what if of the children fell in and drown! So i defiantly think should be done for neglect and they will live with that regret forever.

As to them doing the murder! If the portugese policia say Kate drugged Maddy why was there blood in the apartement and the car! If she was drugged there wouldn't be blood! Somethings happened that's not being let on, I don't think they necessarily did it but even if maddy jus cut herself or had a nose bleed that would explain the blood but then surily the McCanns would have said something about that!

On the other hand if it's not McCann's how did the blood get in the car! I don't know what to think, but somethings going on that's not been said.

I too find this pretty unbelieveable. Assuming, for a moment, that the police really DID find DNA evidence of Madeline in the leased vehicle, have they checked records for said vehicle to determine who had access to it at the time that Madeline went missing? Sometimes, things do happen for a reason, and could it be that rather than incriminating the McCann's, this could be a break to help find the real perpetrators?

And to those who have no empathy at all - do you have children? I agree, they made an error in judgement for sure, but until you've walked a mile in their shoes (three children under the age of four) you have NO CLUE how enticing the idea of a peaceful dinner sans kids can be. I've never done it - too much of a control freak to let my kiddos out of my sight, but I can understand - and this was seemingly a safe location and situation.

But aren't you jumping onto conclusions now? What makes you an expert on their innocence even after the police, the very same experts you mentioned, believe they are suspect?

1) Mum hid the body herself? Who knows? Maybe she got someone else to do it?
2) They found specks of blood in the rented car. Who said it was used to transport a body ... they don't even know if its Maddie's yet. Maybe it was transfer evidence.

I don't understand the anti McCanns; they are constantly baying for their blood. I don't understand the pro McCanns either; it's like they believe the McCanns are holy figures that can do no wrong.

I too pray for Madeleine and hope that justice is served.

The flaw in your argument is that NO ONE knows who the last independent witness to see Madeleine was, all we know is that she was collected from the Kids Club sometime between 5.30pm and 6.30pm. (reports seem to vary) Hypothetically speaking, Madeleine could have died a lot earlier than you think. In fact, she could have been dead before anyone even left to go out to the bar.

I am convinced that the McCann's repeatedly neglected their children, as for anything more sinister, well no one knows. You cannot, however, exclude her parents from suspicion because of the "torture" they have supposedly suffered. The McFan's refusal to even begin to accept that PARENTS DO KILL THEIR CHILDREN, is laughable. They should be under just as much suspicion as anyone else who came into contact with Madeleine, or is it that the McFans want the case to be solved AS LONG AS the McCann's aren't implicated?

You either want to know the truth, or you are happy that someone who could kill a three year old might get away with it, simply because they are "suffering". I'll go with the former, thanks very much.

There has been so much speculation and media fabrication about this case so it is impossible to separate the truth from complete fiction.
Anyone who has followed the case must realise 99% of the details published are pure guesswork.
Only when the case gets to the courts will the factual evidence be shown. Till then please no more stupid wild guesses, Lets just wait and see.

I also think the accusations are crazy, i think the Portuguese are desperate for this all to go away so they can return to normal,so they are pinning it on the parents, however i do not think the MC Canns have been entirely honest and now that has come back to bite their backsides.

The lack of regard they showed for their 3 very young children in leaving them alone in an apartment does not encourage me to believe they are innocent.

This action is not a mistake its neglect, if they are capable of that what else are they capable of?

I would love to agree but i would put money on the fact that the mother knows something, that is only my opinion, and dont mean to upset anyone
