well im no scientist but im pretty sure just about everything was originated from the big bang. so i guess just when that happened everything started to expand.. gasses and rocks and crap everywhere. so just when our sun formed a bunch of asteroids and stuff (all of our planets) started to orbit it since of its gravitational forces.. then th earth just started to develope since its was basically perfect conditions for life to inhabit it.. it was perfect distance from sun.. solid planet.. not too hot not to cold.. you know

It has been generally accepted that the sun,earth and other planets have formed from a primordial revolving disk of hot gases known as the solar nebula,the sun having formed in the centre of the disk.
