one means that there is only a thing. if there is 2, there is a thing and another one of the thing .that's a thing and a thing. a thing and a thing equals 2 and that's why 1 plus 1 is 2. you cant explain it lyk normally. and 1 plus 1 could be really any number but you have to think about it. 2 it 2 1's. 3 is 3 2/3's which is 2/3 of 1. even 4 is 4 1/2's of 1 plus one which is 1/2 of 1 so yeah that's how it works it's confusing.

1 + 1 + 3 = 5
5 - 34 = -29
-29 x -2 = -58
-58 + 61 = 3
Therefore 1 + 1 = 2

The issue here is not to prove why 1 + 1 = 2. Rather, the issue is to disprove that 1 + 1 is 2 and then to prove that 1 + 1 = 3, otherwise we will just be wasting our energy and time breaking our heads on the argument that was, is and will always be irrefutable.
Please prove to us that 1 + 1 = 3. I won't discredit your reasons nor think the authenticity of your intentions. I just want to see what you've got.

Go to get a bag of apples. Take one apple out of the bag and set in on a table. Now take one more apple out of the bag and set in on the table. How many apples are now on the table? There is your proof.
Edit: I guess everybody uses apples for an example. lol
