Yes, it's possible.
However, not feasible.
It would cost WAY too much money and time to be worth it.

buy a 4x4 to convert a 2wd to a 4wd you need to change the drivetrain,spindles,suspension,brakes,the list goes on and on it would cost way more than the truck is ever worth

yes the easy way is to trade it but you can go to the wreaking yard and get the transfer case and differential every thing you don't have then you will most likely have to have driveline cut
