Bush leaves Australia after APEC summit Decrease Increase September 08, 2007 11:12pm
US President George W. Bush has left Australia to return to Washington to prepare a crucial White House report on the war in Iraq.
Mr Bush flew out of Sydney Airport after a four-day visit which included a raft of meetings with other leaders before he attended the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation leaders' meeting today.

You're not s'posed to edit your own question so quickly, I was going to say Why didn't he take Mr. "oops I crapped my pants" Howard with him.
His White House report will no doubt include references to how well he was received in Austria, and how those "Austries" are helping out by kicking some ass in Iraq.
There will no doubt also be a memo to a staffer about how they should get him on the guest list to "that other convention that ends in PEC." He did after all say he'd be there next year, and he wouldn't want to look like a LIAR now would he?
I reckon the Drizabone l'il Johnny gave him will be handy for him, if he keeps it buttoned up. It will stop all the shite that he dribbles from ruining his good suits!

EDIT: Brinlarr, you are a wanker. At what point were communists mentioned in any news report? Whilst people chucking stuff at the biggest ignoramus of the free world is unacceptable, everybody has a right to protest. Most people did so in a very civilised manner.

Well you got some tossers on the list above me....
I think it would be fair to say i am glad to see him gone, he did absolutely nothing for our country or APEC as a whole. In fact if someone can please explain the purpose of his visit, I would be delighted to know what it was for. (other that to shake hands with the old blubb and pat himself on the back and pressure some regional nations into doing what he says )
Any way good riddence to the d!ckhaed and lets hope he doesn't return any time soon, he is of no value to Australia or the rest of the world.
