My worst problem is being disciplined. I get myself into a good routine and feel good about it...for about a week, and then it fizzles. And then, I feel like I'm the biggest loser that ever walked the face of the earth.

Can I list other problems?

1) Procrastination
2) Saying "no" when people ask a favor
3) Following through when I say to the kids: If you don't do this, this is going to happen.

Self-acceptance and self-esteem have always been my stumbling blocks.... if they are lacking and low they cause so many other difficulties in life.... but sadly its not rectified! Its a work in progress!

I DO have "perfectionist" standards for MYSELF to live up to... then feel disappointed and feel I have let myself down. I find it hard to TRUST people fully.

One thing I used to struggle with, but have manage to improve is communication, and being assertive. Being able to say how i feel and what i think.... somethings HAVE got easier as I have got older, wiser and more experienced. Life teaches you if you let it!!

i would say thinking that because i was working more, and tired more, i couldnt do basic things that made me feel good, this slowly grew and i became more and more slack in things such as keeping the home as clean as i liked, and exercising and watching what i eat,
once i decided that besides work i had to also do these things for my health and peace of mind, i was able to fit them back into my life, and feel better and less tired for it!
