No, I don't support either because I don't think it had anything to do with the UK and I don't think it was the right sort of war to take on terrorism.

No because the USA has no right to be over there and are killing innocent civilians. Plus the USA is only over there to steal more Arab oil and to ruin those two countries. The USA is the reason there are so many problems in Iraq and the rest of the Middle East. Don't forget that the CIA trained Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban. The USA helped the Taliban out when the Soviet Union tried invading Afghanistan. Those countries were better off before the USA interfered and went over there. The USA just needs to quit interfering in the rest of the world, get out of the Middle East and stay out.

No, but I can see the validity of a few points on the pro side.
A) Saddam Hussein was an evil despot, no doubt, and anyone who would commit genocide to such an extent on his own people should not be allowed to continue to do so. We are democratic nations, and we should stand up for those who need us.
and
B) The UK was in no position to p*ss off the US. We are a much weaker Nation, economically and militarily than we used to be. Had we not joined our allies in this debacle, then we risked being placed in a position where, if we needed help, the US could well have turned around and told us to p*ss off. We are not as self-sufficient as we were either, we have very few resources of our own, and are dependant on many other countries for our exports and imports.
So, although I do not support the war/s, (and I have family members who are doing active service in Afghanistan and Iraq), I can see why we are there.
This is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less!

I understand that some asserting one improve into for sure state backed terrorism & the different improve into much less sparkling that Saddam improve into sponsoring terrorism exterior of Israel. The approach of terrorism has a tendency to be create a robotic that a million can redirect at will. The left says that the militia falls under the comparable umbrella. Having been interior the militia, i've got stumbled on them much less robotic them the left paints them. Their leaders the two militia & civilian are greater ethical as properly. Even devoid of that pronounced, there nonetheless is the left looking over the shoulder to spotlight each step/misstep of the US militia. individually no count if or no longer the front into Iraq improve into suitable is immaterial. it could be unethical to bypass away the Iraqi human beings in worst shape than we stumbled on it. Rebuilding the infrastructure isn't what i'm conversing approximately. If the Iraqi human beings extremely desire the coalition to bypass away it extremely is definitely interior of Iraqi palms. If peace broke out of their u . s . a . for A year & then the inhabitants voted the coalition out, interior of one greater 6 months they could be completely directing their very very own u . s . a .. It does not look exterior impacts believe the worthiness of their reason to allow this to ensue. they desire is instigate sectarian violence! for individuals that think of the war is approximately oil, evaluate this: If the coalition captures all the oil, it could nonetheless could proportion it. For the 1st international to the two produce & sell this is products desires potential. devoid of an economically possible alternative for fossil fuels, the 1st international's economic equipment is possibly to spiral down the economic equipment of 1850 via 2050. this could negate city life.

It has been proven that Afghanistan was behind the funding for terrorist attacks such as 11 September, making it a legitimate target for military action. Iraq is grey area, it was an appauling regime and surely we have a duty to free people from it?
This idea that we are imposing Western values on people who do not want this, is completely incomprehensible. How can people *not* want to be free, to be able to elect their officials democratically and to have equality throughout their society? Therefore, one could make the argument that the invasion of Iraq puts the country on a fresh start, and that the violence occuring now is simply the aftershocks of the invasion and marks a transition period whilst Iraq finds it new identity.

Afghanistan? Yes. This really IS about saving a war ravaged country that had fallen into the clutches of repressive harbourers of terrorists.
Iraq? No. This is a separate war that was STARTED by the US and Britain. Sure, a repressive despot was toppled, but it was for economic reasons, no anything to do with terrorism or genuine threats to global security. And it wasn't worth the half million Iraqis who have died.
Hope that helps :)

No. It is a war fought for one thing - oil. And to keep Israel company in the mid-East. Blair was so far up the a*se of Bush and so determined to make a name for himself on the World stage he dragged us into an illegal, despicable and unwinnable conflict.
Afghanistan and Iraq shouldn't be regarded as identical though. The Taliban were - are scum. But there are scum everywhere - China is a hellhole with an appalling human rights record but we are chummywummy with them becasue they could wipe us off the face of the earth. Saudi Arabia is even worse but look at the filthy dealings we and the Yanks have with the Saudis.
Don't believe the garbage about spreading democracy and toppling Saddam the despot - it was about oil oil oil and making a few Americans very very rich.
2,000 people died in Iraq last month alone. TWO THOUSAND! And people will still dare to say that things are better than under Saddam.

Yes
Reasons
1. Saddam supported terrorists. This is a very plain fact.
2. Russian intelligence was reporting to the US that Saddam was planning terrorist attacks inside the US
3. Its much easier for would be terrorists to go to Iraq to kill US soldiers than it is for them to go to the US. We are fighting the war there instead of here.
4. The show of force has created immediate benefits such as Libya giving up its ambitions.
5. We freed 25 million from an oppressive and brutal regime
Regardless of how "bad" things are portrayed over there, we have the overwhelming support of the Iraqis and this is reflected by one overlooked fact. There are no refugees, whenever there is a bloodbath going on there are always refugees. Where then are all the refugees? Some like to make it seem like US soldiers are butchering innocent people over there but they refuse to acknowledge the barbarous and inhuman acts of violence committed by terrorists every day.

Sadam Hussein invaded Kuwait to get a monopoly of oil so he could hold the world to ransom, because without oil we would have no ships , tranks, planes etc. tio fight back when he invaded. He had already boasted that with his power he was the one who would remove Israel from the map.
Israel would not have waited to be destroyed because it is a tiny nation easily destroyed so it would have had to attack first. It could not have done it with ordinary weapons because it was no match for Iraq, so it would have to be nuclear. That would have started a nucllear war in the mid-east. and the whole world would have been dragged in.
To avoid that happening the allies had to stop Iraq from going on.
Everyone wondered why we did not finish the job after the Kuwait warwhich would have saved us this war but the united nationsonly allowed our aries to fight that war and not to go to finish it off
