I doubt if you have air bags but I think you might have ABS. The air bag would be apparent as the first ones that were put into cars were installed into the steering wheel. It is clearly marked on the horn pad that it is an air bag. The other way to check is when you turn the ignition on and start the car, air bag and ABS lights turn on to indicate that the system is being checked and goes out when the self test is done. If you have no lights on your dash, you have neither.

Anti-lock brakes, possibly. Front anti-lock brakes were optional on the high end trim packages.

you have to check your options, does it say airbag on your horn pad ? do you have a owners manual ? take your serial
number to your local gm dealer and they can tell you.
