There were 15 or so hominids that are now extinct. What are we, the new and improved model?

All answers are quite right - with our limited view we can see it from one side or from other, see always only a little part of the whole, recognizing many holes of ignorance which in the very best case we can fill with holy gratefullnes to the Creator.

God does not work - he just I S.
The continuous doing on any level is not divine. He can do if He wants, but normally it is done for Him. This is what makes it so very difficulty to understand that all, as we humans have to do all day long so many things, and if we don´t do it is not done (except there happens a miracle.......), seems to be even nearly impossible that the person who knows us best can read our desires in our eyes - ah how great is God !!

He gives us the background, and we can paint, making the best of what is given to us, or we can block and deny and make all more difficulty, we are painters in free deliberation, and God makes his decisions based on that.

So let´s paint in beautiful colours, in beautiful shapes, to enjoy our eyes, our hearts and God !

If you look at the area of answers called Intelligent Design, you will find that people believe that God, or a Higher Power or HP for short, has set creation in motion, and that we can see evidence of the HP's action. For instance, a giraffe has a long neck. If a giraffe doesn't have a long neck, it can not eat and so there is no giraffe. Evolutionists say that the giraffe developed its neck over time. However ,the fact that it can not eat without a long neck indicates an idea called irreducible complexity in which HP must have set in motion the development of the giraffe's long neck.
It is a great question, and I'm glad that you asked.

Why not, somebody's got to do it. I have a friend who constantly tries to interest me in clothes, in actual fashion... always giving me stuff to hang in the closet. She is trying to "paint" me, I guess.
I'd rather God did it. I wouldn't have to try on clothes! And it is a never-ending work, I think... the long evolvement. It has taken me forever to grow up. That's fine. I may live a long time before growing old. Thanks, God! Paint away!

I don't know. That is the beauty of God. We don't know, we just think we know and our imaginations run free and surround us with an ever-changing palette. It's up to us to do the painting!

God created time. "After" that he does nothing, speaking temporally, because he exists outside of time. God by definition is all-powerful and perfect; and thing that he created and subsequently changed would bespeak an earlier imperfection is already perfect work. Basically change for Omnipotent creator is logically incompatible with his all powerful nature.

When I look at the evening sky, I say, " Yes!"
When I saw my baby's eyes, I said, "Yes!"
When I think about all He's done, I say, "Yes!"
He sent us his only Son, I say, "Yes!"

I think he's a joker ever at play. And we are the butt of his continuing jokes.
