I saw Bourne Ultimatum alone.
There weren't any I could ask simply becuase they aren't as great fans of Jason Bourne as I am

I cant imagine that this situation would arise because me and my other half will watch anything...
but yeah I would, probably not a night showing because Im not good with crowds at the best of times and dont think I could hack it alone but I would go during a quiet time through the day. Ive been to the cinema alone before when I was waiting for him to finish his work, it's very cool if you get the whole screen to yourself!
☺

Ive never done that but yes I will if no one wants to c. I mean once the lights are off, I ll just enjoy my darn movie though I certainly hope I ll remember I came alone and not feel my way to the guy beside me's tub of popcorn.

I have done this several times.. There is nothing wrong with doing so. Not everyone has the same taste, so why should I miss out seeing something I want, just because they don't.. Go and enjoy the movie

Funny...I never realized people could find this odd. The theater is dark, and nobody's paying much attention to who does or doesn't accompany you. (And if anyone did notice, why would you care what a nosy stranger thinks? ;-) ) Watching movies is one activity I find works fine solo. In fact, when I think of it, several of the films I enjoyed most were those I experienced independently. On your own, you're free to concentrate completely on the movie, and you don't even have to share your popcorn. ;-) :-)
Go for it. :-)

I've done it many times.
Indeed, I've gone alone even when I knew my spouse wanted to simply because I was afraid the movie would disappear from the theater before we both had a chance to go.

I do it all the time and I'm married. She doesn't like the same movies. We go to the theater together but she goes to one movie while go see another. Nothing wrong with that!

i personally wouldnt i'm just weird like that with some things like turning up to a party where you dont really know someone!!!
But in saying that i have friends who do it all the time either because their friends work opposite hours or hardly ever have same day off.
They say it can be better cause you can sit where you like and no one chattering in your ear all the time!!!!
