Ummm... we *are* talking about global *warming*, right? This generally does not include cities freezing.

Global warming, by definition, is the trend of the average global temperature to increase from one year to the next. This means that *worldwide* temperatures rise, not fall.

There *are* some who claim that global warming could interfere with the Gulf Stream, and that would cause New York City to be cooler - but it would cause it to be as cool as, say, Erie, PA (at about the same latitude), not Yellowknife, Canada or (as depicted in the movie) colder than any naturally-occurring temperature on earth. You don't see freezing like that in Antarctica, the coldest place on earth.

P.S. 2 cat 5 storms "at once" has been going on since long before anyone imagines the current global warming trend has.

It's only in biblical prophesies that say the exact day and hour something will occur.

And, of course, in those prophesies, nothing ever happens either at the appointed time or some other time..

The same is not true of global warming. It is coming on slowly. New York City isn't likely to freeze. It is more likely to be under water.

there's no real science behind this. Al Gore is a fraud. He talks a good game, but then look at his life. Fly a jet all the time, he has huge mansions. This nothing wrong with these things, just don't own them, and then tell everybody else to only use 1 piece of TP per visit to the bathroom. If he really cared about global warming, he'd do something about it. If you want to see how the earth will end, read the Book of Revelation in the Bible. Don't listen to the mainstream news. It does not occurs in Bible. There is only Flood there. So I don't believe in an ice age.

it's happening already..they've been observing it for quite some years now that's why they are able to make some assumptions what would happen in the future.
