The police are closer than ever to proving their official theory: that Madeleine died on the night of the 3rd of May in the apartment at Ocean Club (probably as a result of an accident or involuntary homicide) and that her parents and their friends (three British couples that dined that night in the restaurant with them and who, according to the Portuguese press, drank 14 bottles of wine - 1.7 liters per head) decided to fake an abduction/kidnap to gain time and to dispose of the body of the little girl. This is what I have suspected for at least the last 2 months or more. That they accidentally killed Maddie (possibly by overdose) and they are covering it up. The police probably have way more evidence than we may even know about. I hope that they get this case wrapped up soon. Gone on far too long now and Maddie deserves some justice.

Muriel---Not to be gross or anything, but a dead body will at a certain point start to leak fluids, including blood. My friend told me this, she is in medical school here in Pennsylvania.

That´s Spanish translation and was on Spanish teletext this morning. Being an Arguido they have to go before a judge to determine the next steps. It doesn´t mean they will be charged. It is a bit like the british police giving bail or similar

They may be a confession on the cards, if this is the case. If they have done anything, they should be hung, drawn and quartered for making a fool out of everybody.

Thankyou for the Translation ,what will happen to them.?What about the twins they have already lost their sister, now they could lose their Mum and Dad.It is perhaps time the children went back to England,to be able to live in a more secure home life with their grandparents.The McCanns must face this ordeal without involving their children.As sad as it is its the best thing.

I hope the Police actually release more details about this case. It's disgusting, this little girl has touched the hearts of millions, or billions of people. It's such a shame.

If Madeleine was sedated were did the blood come from. so are they saying that they caused her physical harm before sedating her.it doesn't ring true.
