I think Bin Laden has run out of things to say. His previous threats of further attacks against the US have proven to be empty because of our vigilance and systematic disection of the AlQaida network. He is desperate to get us out of his backyard.
When they attacked us in 2001, he expected the US to responde with a Soviet type of ground invasion that would lead to our ultimate collapse trying to fight in his mountainous terrain, instead we dropped massive Bunker Busters, Daisy Cutters & MOAB's from Hell, completely pulverizing his proud mountain camp of martyrs, chasing him away into some remote corner of Pakistan where he can do nothing but hide and occasionally release a rambling video tape. Rather than fighting like a true martyr he will probably die in seclusion knowing his Jihaad has failed.

The Bin Laden tape simply proves the insanity of the jihadist movement in general, and of Al-Qaeda in particular.

These people believe in converting everyone in the world to Islam, by force if necessary.

Ask the Jews if the Inquisition was a fun time for them... That was a time when Chritianity tried "forcing" Jewish people to accept Chirstianity, and was one of the ugliest and most brutal periods of Chirstian history.

thinks he can turn a entire country , much less the world into a
Islamic Perversion.
The Iraqi people need to drive these radicals out of there
country.Or point them out so we can do it for them.Any sympathy to them after all the strife they have caused is

I say we CONVERT to non petroluem fuels and TRULY "marginalize" (quotes because that's GWB's word for bin Laden) bin Laden and the entire, insane Middle East. Without oil to sell, they would have to go back to just killing each other and begging the UN for a few table scraps.

Considering that as little as 1,000 years ago, the Middle East was considered the cradle of commerce and civilization, sure, women were second class non-citizens, but that's been true of virtually ALL societies at one point or another- education, philosophy, but above all, TRADE, were all concepts highly revered in the Middle Eastern nations then.

Now, religious differences (and pretty small differences, when you look at the issues with a little perspective) have regressed their societies almost to the point of savagry again. Trade is gone, they have no credibilty with the rest of the world (who wants to do business with someone you're afraid may pick YOU to blow up next?), they struggle simply to survive. It's torn Iraq to pieces, much as the division in Nortern Ireland over Catholic/Protestant differences rended THAT poor country asunder, before finally, saner heads realized killing for God, or Yahweh, or Allah, is of course the sickest perversion of God's plans for His creations ever conceived.

Anyone who claims to be doing what he or she KNOWS is the "Will of God (or Yahweh or Allah, etc)" should be removed from their employment immediately and incarcerated until such time as he or she is found mentally capable of standing trial for insanity, as those found to hear voices attributed to "God" are invariably diagnosed with some form of mental aberration, such as delusional schizophrenia or drug-induced psychopathy.

Following the 10 Commandments, I have no problem with those, but I especially favor "The Golden Rule" (the one which states to "Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You", NOT "He Who Has the Most Gold Makes the Rules"). Killing is wrong, as is trying to take your neighbor's things from him. As Stephen King wrote in "The Stand", most of the Commandments are stealing in one form or another. "Bearing False Witness" regardless of what many people say, does NOT mean lying. It means deliberately lying on a witness stand, under Oath, for or against an innocent (or guilty) defendant, with the intention of either doing that person harm or assistance. Human beings can't TAKE full-on, unadulterated honesty, 24-7, so it would be silly for our Creator to then set the rules to ensure we feel badly about ourselves and others, simply in order to avoid polite lies. Don't believe me? Next time you see your best friends, tell them what you TRULY think of their children.

I read a link (which I dont have anymore) which says something about how Organized Religion is not in the business of Spiritual Enrichment or Enlightenment, because Enlightened Beings are MUCH too hard to control. That made a LOT of sense to me, as it implies Spirituality isn't the problem, Organized Religion is the problem.
